Looking for some family fun? Summer and early Fall are a great time to visit the farms of the Apple Hill Growers. Several farms are offering interactive U-Pick experiences for their seasonal crops. Make sure to call ahead to find out what’s in season at the ranches. We are listing all our you-pick availability for the season.<\/p>\n

24Carrot Farms:<\/strong><\/a> Summer is a great time to go pick strawberries and blackberries. You can also create your own bouquet for your summer table. You’ll have your pick of sunflowers, zinnias, marigolds, gomphrena, rudbekia, snapdragons, celosias and bachelor\u2019s buttons can be picked and combined in stunning bouquets. Don’t forget to come back for pumpkins in October! Sign up for their weekly newsletter for updates on what\u2019s available as it changes every week. Argyres Orchard<\/strong>: Not only does Argyres Orchard offer apple picking in the fall,  but they also have you pick concord grapes. 530-644-3862<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Bluestone Meadows:<\/a><\/strong>Check out the Lavender Blue Festival end of July\/beginning of June for you pick lavender. You also might be able to catch them open for a few a few weeks after that if they don’t sell out. Give them a call for you- pick lavender fun. 530-621-1830<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Denver Dan’s Apple Patch:<\/strong><\/a> If you are looking for you pick apples in the fall be sure to check out Denver Dan’s Apple Patch. 530-644-0881<\/p>\n

Harris Family Farm<\/strong><\/a>:<\/strong> Flowers and blackberries are ripe for the picking right now. Our bake shop is open and thee are plenty of Kids\u2019 activities available.  Check back for apples and pumpkins this fall. <\/span> Open Thursday to Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 530-644-2194<\/em><\/p>\n

O\u2019Halloran\u2019s Apple Trail Ranch<\/a><\/strong>: We offer you-pick flowers that can be gathered for beautiful bouquets.  Later in the season you can find u-pick pumpkins on the vine, gourds, winter squash and Indian Corn.  530-644-3389<\/p>\n

Pine-O-Mine Ranch<\/a><\/strong>: We offer you-pick sunflowers in the summer and apples are usually ready for u-pick starting on Sept. 3rd. Later in the season there will be u-pick pumpkins, too. Open Friday through Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. <\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Rainbow Camino Ridge:<\/a> <\/strong>If you want to get some serious blueberry picking done come to Rainbow Camino Ridge. Mid June the berries are usually ripe and last for a while after that, Check out their Facebook page for availability.<\/a>    530-611-1594 (messages only)<\/p>\n

Smokey Ridge Ranch<\/strong><\/a>: <\/strong>Visitors can pick their own fresh bouquets from flowers grown right on the farm.
