It’s here! Time for apples, hay rides, donuts and cider. \u00a0Now open… the Apple Hill Grower ranches, High Hill Ranch and Abel’s Apples Acres, \u00a0with more ranches set to open later this month, it is sure to be a fantastic season. And if you are up our way, and see apples on the ground already, now worries! It’s a good thing. Our crops are so plentiful this year that thinning is needed to make for the sweetest and best apples!<\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

High Hill Ranch<\/span><\/h2>\r\n

Apple Hill Grower’s largest ranch, at more than 155 acres, is now open daily through December! Taste High Hill Ranch<\/a>‘s first batch of hand-picked apples picked straight from their Apple Hill orchard in mid-August. Enjoy their famous desserts like apple donuts and fritters (pic above) as well as pies and apple cider shakes. Kids love the wagon hay-ride tours and and pony rides while the adults can sip on High Hill Ranch’s Apple Wine and Hard Cider. Enjoy the onsite restaurant and bakery, shopping and crafts.<\/p>\r\n

Abel’s Apple Acres<\/h2>\r\n

Beside the delicious desserts like their carmel covered apples, Abel’s Apple Acres<\/a> has added a new feature, gem-mining! Try your hand at sifting in the sluice to find rough gems and fossils. This ranch has been family owned since 1976 snow open the weekend August 24-25 then open daily starting Wednesday August 28.<\/p>\r\n
